There are moments when I really struggle to find the words.
Not because I don’t love telling stories. It’s my job, after all.
But some results come after years of sacrifice, thousands of hours behind a camera, hundreds of weddings documented in the Dolomites, Italy, and abroad, and a continuous personal search that often goes unnoticed.
That’s why today I’m incredibly happy to share some news that means a lot to me.
Thanks to the results obtained in the latest ISPWP (International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers) contests, I ranked among the 10 best wedding photographers in the world in the Spring 2026 contest and among the 20 best photographers in the world in the Winter 2026 contest.
This result comes alongside five internationally awarded photographs and represents one of the most important milestones in my career as a destination wedding photographer.
Prizes won in the Spring 2026 contest
The biggest surprise came with the spring contest.
Three of my images were awarded in the Wedding Day Portraits category:

🏅 14th Place – Wedding Day Portraits
When I opened the ranking and saw three photographs awarded in the same category, I had to check several times to make sure I had read correctly.
Because yes, winning an award is already something special.
Seeing three of them awarded at the same time is something I never would have imagined when I started this journey.
First place in the world in the Winter 2026 contest
The winter contest also gave me enormous satisfaction.
One of my photographs got the:

If there is a category that I feel particularly close to my way of photographing, it is Real Moments.
Because it represents exactly what I look for every time I photograph a wedding.
Not constructed images.
No forced emotions.
But real moments.
The ones that happen when people stop thinking about the camera and simply start experiencing what’s happening.
What is ISPWP?
For those who aren’t familiar, the ISPWP (International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers) is one of the most prestigious associations in the world dedicated to professional wedding photography.
Access is reserved exclusively for photographers with documented experience in the wedding sector, and each contest collects thousands of photographs from all over the world.
Being recognized in this context means competing against some of the best international wedding photographers and seeing your work recognized by a jury of top-level professionals.
What does this result really mean to me?
In recent years I have been fortunate to receive several international awards.
But the truth is, awards were never the reason I started taking pictures.
I started because photography was my way of communicating.
It was the most natural way I had to express what I saw and what I felt.
Over time this passion became a job.
Then a profession.
Then a continuous search.
Even today, after photographing hundreds of weddings in the Dolomites, in Italy and abroad, I continue to approach each story with the same curiosity I had as a boy.
I keep wondering how to tell the story of a couple in an authentic way.
How to create images that will still be relevant twenty years from now.
How to transform a memory into something that can be relived over time.
Behind every award there are couples
There’s one thing I often think about when I receive recognition.
These photographs would not exist without the people who chose to trust me.
Behind every award-winning image is a couple who let me into their story.
There are real emotions.
There are unrepeatable moments.
There are hugs, tears, laughter, and connections that no photographer could ever invent.
This is why I consider every award as something shared.
It doesn’t belong to me alone.
It also belongs to the people who made that photograph possible.

I just wanted to say thank you.
To the couples who continue to entrust me with their memories.
To those who have been following me for years.
To my colleagues who inspire me to improve.
And to all the people who believe in my work.
These results represent an important step along the way, but not the finish line.
Tomorrow I’ll be behind a camera again.
With the same desire to tell stories.
With the same emotion.
And with the same conviction that the most important photographs are still the ones I have to take.
