When Laura and Dan contacted me before their vacation in the Dolomites, they weren’t looking for perfect poses or postcard-perfect photos. They simply wanted an authentic memory of this moment in their lives with their children.

The weather wasn’t great on the day of the photo shoot.
The mountains were shrouded in clouds, and for much of the afternoon it looked like it might start raining at any moment.
Many people, in a similar situation, would probably have postponed the service.
Laura and Dan chose to move on.
Because family photography isn’t about the sun.
Talk about people.
It talks about the relationships, emotions and bonds that exist at a certain moment in life.
And this doesn’t depend on the weather.
Indeed, the soft light of the clouds helped create an intimate and delicate atmosphere that made the images even more authentic.

During the session, I encouraged Laura and Dan to live in the moment with their children without worrying about the camera.

A walk hand in hand.

A sudden laugh.
The excitement of children as they discover something new.
It’s these details that truly tell the story of a family.
