When Gina and Steve, an energetic and adventurous American couple, contacted me for a photoshoot at Lake Braies, I immediately knew we’d create something special. They were looking for a local photographer in the Dolomites who knew the perfect places, light, and moments to tell their love story in one of Italy’s most iconic settings.
We began the session along the lake shore, amidst the emerald reflections and the imposing mountains surrounding Braies. Gina and Steve laughed, hugged, and simply enjoyed the moment: their spontaneity was contagious. No forced poses. Just genuine emotions and a palpable connection in front of the lens.
Then came the most anticipated moment: the boat ride. A Lake Braies classic… that never ceases to amaze. In the middle of the water, surrounded by the Dolomites, everything became even more intimate. Their smiles were proof that when there’s complicity, any location becomes the perfect setting.
