A true love among the suspended landscapes of South Tyrol
There’s something powerful about intimate weddings. They have a quiet energy, made of genuine gestures and whispered words. Andrea and Matteo’s was just that: a sincere, refined, and emotional day, celebrated between Laives, the views of Castelvecchio, and Lake Caldaro.

The ceremony in the heart of Laives
The journey began with the civil ceremony in the Town Hall of Laives, in an intimate, sober atmosphere, filled with knowing glances and intertwined hands. There was nothing superfluous: just the heart, the voice broken by emotion, and the echo of the most important words.
A dream dress and an outfit outside the box
Jewelie Couture made Andrea’s dress: a fairytale wedding dress, flowing and romantic, that moved like silk in the wind. Every detail was meticulously crafted, designed to enhance her elegant yet authentic personality.
Next to her, Matteo surprised everyone with a dark green suit, modern and deep, in perfect dialogue with the nature that would provide the backdrop for their couple shoot.
The photo shoot among the woods and views of Lake Caldaro
For the couple photos, we moved away from the town center and immersed ourselves in the greenery above Castelvecchio, among paths and views that seemed suspended in time. Here, between the quiet of the forest and the open views of the vineyards and Lake Caldaro, we constructed a visual storytelling made of caresses, silent smiles, and golden light.
Each shot sought intimacy before aesthetics, because authenticity – when it truly exists – is already perfect as it is.
The reception at Tannhof: hospitality and poetry
The Tannhof in Pianizza di Sopra was the setting for the reception: a discreet yet panoramic location, with a terrace overlooking Lake Caldaro and genuine hospitality. Candles, wood, warm lighting, and thoughtful details transformed the sunset into poetry.
There I photographed the toasts, the tears of joy, the genuine laughter. Every wedding has its own soundtrack. Andrea and Matteo’s? It was made of kind words, clinking glasses, and a breathtaking view.
My approach to wedding photography in the Dolomites
Being a wedding photographer in Caldaro and South Tyrol means knowing not only the locations, but also the timing of the light, the silence of the forest, the wind that changes the color of the leaves.
