There are huge weddings, built on months of planning and hundreds of guests. And then there are small, essential, almost silent weddings… but with a very strong identity.

Lucero and Francisco’s was just that.An intimate and authentic civil wedding in Trento, celebrated in the splendid Villa de Mersi and followed by a cozy and contemporary lunch at Urban Trento.

A seemingly simple day.Because inside there was much more.

A civil wedding at Villa de Mersi in Trento

In recent years, more and more couples are choosing a civil wedding in Trento, which combines elegance, authenticity, and freedom. And Villa de Mersi is one of the most interesting locations for those seeking all this.

Situated in the hills of Trento, Villa de Mersi has a distinctive atmosphere: refined yet not stiff, elegant yet deeply human. The green spaces, natural light, and historic architecture create a perfect setting for those seeking candid, unpretentious photographs.

For a wedding photographer, locations like this allow you to truly tell the story of the people. Not just the aesthetics of the day.

Lucero and Francisco: two different worlds, the same energy

Lucero is a professional table tennis player and coach.Francisco works in cybersecurity and ethical hacking.

Two very different personalities. But with an immediate, ironic, and authentic connection.

In their questionnaire, they told me they shared video games, anime, and a daily life filled with true complicity. And it’s something that was constantly felt throughout the marriage.

No need to create artificial scenes. No pursuit of perfection.

Only presence.The real one.

Spontaneous and real photographs during the civil ceremony

One of the things I love most about small civil weddings is the rhythm.Everything happens more naturally.

Looks have space.Silences remain silences.Emotions are not drowned out by chaos.

During the civil ceremony at Villa de Mersi, Lucero and Francisco were completely immersed in the moment. And that’s where the most powerful photographs are born.

Not the perfect ones. The real ones.

The hands that reach out without thinking. The sideways glances during the ceremony. The tiny expressions that last half a second but tell the story of an entire relationship.

""

Urban Trento: an elegant and contemporary lunch

After the ceremony we moved to Urban Trento for lunch.

Urban is a very different location from Villa de Mersi, and it is precisely this contrast that worked so well in the photographic story of the day.

On one side, the historic and green dimension of the villa. On the other, a more modern, urban, and minimalist environment in the heart of Trento.

This combination gave the wedding a very contemporary balance: elegant but relaxed, refined but never forced.

Even during lunch, the day remained extremely spontaneous.Real conversations, small moments, everyday details.

And that’s where the best reporting often comes from.
