Wedding Photographer Jenesien South Tyrol | Yvonne & Lars' Mountain Wedding in the Dolomites

Langfenn, Jenesien South Tyrol , Dolomites

There are weddings that leave an impression because of the beauty of the place.

And then there are weddings that stay with you because of the people living them.

Yvonne and Lars’ wedding, celebrated on May 16th, 2026, between Jenesien and Langfenn in the heart of South Tyrol, undoubtedly belongs to the second category.

It was an authentic, intense, and deeply human day, surrounded by the landscapes that make the Dolomites and South Tyrol one of the most fascinating places in Europe to get married.

As a wedding photographer in Jenesien, my goal is not simply to document an event, but to tell a story. And Yvonne and Lars’ story was one of contrasts, companionship, and small truths that deserved to be transformed into timeless images.

## A Wedding Between Jenesien and Langfenn

The day began at Gasthof zum Hirschen in Jenesien, one of the most charming historic venues in the area.

Surrounded by forests, alpine meadows, and the peaceful atmosphere of the Salten plateau, it immediately created the perfect setting for a day focused on what truly matters, far away from the rush of everyday life.

The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Jakob Church in Langfenn, one of South Tyrol’s most distinctive wedding locations.

Small, surrounded by nature, and reached through landscapes that look as if they belong in a movie, this church perfectly represents the essence of a mountain wedding: simplicity, authenticity, and meaning.

## Two Very Different People Who Together Feel Like Home

One of the things that struck me most about this couple was their balance.

Two seemingly opposite personalities who, once together, create an extraordinary harmony.

The strongest photographs are rarely born from a perfect pose.

More often, they come from a genuine connection.

And that connection was present in every moment of Yvonne and Lars’ wedding day.

## A Wedding Built on Real Emotions

Yvonne and Lars did not want a rigid or overly structured wedding.

They wanted to spend time with the people they love.

Laughing.

Celebrating.

Living every moment to the fullest.

And that is exactly what made their story so special.

The most important images of the day were not necessarily the most spectacular ones.

They were the hugs.

The tears held back.

The hands searching for each other.

The friends laughing until they could barely stand.

Those small moments that become more valuable with every passing year.

## The Meaning of St. Jakob Church in Langfenn

Some places become symbols.

St. Jakob Church in Langfenn was already one long before the wedding day.

For Yvonne and Lars, it represented a promise and an important chapter of their story.

That is why I chose to photograph it not simply as a location, but as a character within the narrative itself.

Small compared to the vastness of the surrounding landscape.

Quiet.

Never seeking attention.

Just like the most meaningful moments in life.

## The Beauty of Imperfection

One of the things I love most about wedding photography is that perfection is rarely what makes an image memorable.

The photographs that stay with us are often the most honest ones.

An uncontrollable smile.

A dress moving in the wind.

A moment of chaos during the celebration.

An unexpected expression.

Yvonne and Lars built their relationship through these imperfect moments too.

And that is why I wanted to tell their story without hiding them.

Because true beauty does not come from looking perfect.

It comes from being authentic.

## A South Tyrolean Wedding Surrounded by Nature, Friends, and Freedom

The mountains surrounding Jenesien accompanied every moment of the day.

The green meadows.

The forests.

The soft evening light.

The views stretching toward the Dolomites.

Everything contributed to creating an intimate and welcoming atmosphere.

Not the feeling of a grand event.

But the feeling of a day shared with the right people.

And that is probably the memory that will last the longest.

Not a single moment.

But the feeling of having experienced something real.

If you are planning your wedding in Jenesien, Langfenn, or anywhere else in South Tyrol and the Dolomites, my goal is to tell your story through authentic, emotional, and timeless images.

Because the most important photographs are not the ones that simply show what your wedding looked like.

They are the ones that allow you to remember exactly how it felt to live it.
